ABOUT Tee …
Tee's journey is a testament to the resilience and determination that define his remarkable life story. Born in the vibrant city of Birmingham, UK, Tee's early years were enriched by the captivating blend of cultures around him. His father's decision to immerse his family in the Caribbean way of life led them to Jamaica, a transformative experience that left an indelible mark on Tee's worldview.
Returning to the UK during his adolescence, Tee's thirst for knowledge and growth led him to the path of civil engineering. However, fate had other plans as he was discovered by a fashion agent, unlocking a world he hadn't anticipated. The fashion industry's runway lights and camera flashes introduced him to new opportunities, gradually propelling him into the realm of modelling.
During his flourishing modelling career, Tee found not only success but love. His meeting with his soulmate, Jayne, was a turning point that ignited his aspirations. With Jayne's unwavering belief, Tee's journey took a new trajectory, steering him toward the realm of acting. Relocating to their version of Hollywood on the outskirts of Birmingham, they nurtured their love and raised their two children, Alex, and Alice.
As the modelling world embraced him, Tee and Jayne ventured into sculpting, initially as a hobby. Little did they know, this artistic endeavour would evolve into a thriving business, culminating in their own dedicated studio. The passion they shared for sculpting mirrored the fire within Tee for his acting aspirations.
Despite the hurdles facing actors of colour, Tee transitioned into acting, driven by an unwavering dedication. The freedom he found in modelling and sculpting allowed him to embrace roles and scripts close to his heart.
In 2021, Tee was presented with a pivotal opportunity. Award-winning writer and director Matt Cannon invited him to spearhead the film "Revolution X" as the lead actor and a producer. Amid the challenges of filming, Tee's personal life took an unforeseen and heart-wrenching turn.
During the filming of "Revolution X," Tee's beloved wife, Jayne, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Her resilience and unwavering support propelled Tee forward, even as he balanced caregiving and his professional commitments. Tragically, Jayne's battle came to an end, leaving a void in Tee's heart. Yet, with her memory as his guiding light, Tee persisted, completing the film they had embarked on together.
Tee's life is a testament to his unyielding spirit. From his early exposure to diverse cultures to his foray into modelling, sculpting, and acting, Tee has exemplified that adversity only fuels his determination. His journey is one of love, loss, and unshakable perseverance—a journey that continues to inspire and empower those fortunate enough to cross paths with his story.
